Alex “Sumo”

Alex began training in BJJ in 1993 under Professor Peter de Been. Competing in local and interstate competitions throughout his BJJ journey. Alex was awarded his black belt from Professor Peter de Been in 2013. Alex has a unique ability to explain movements and concepts and makes jiu jitsu accessible to everyone of all ages and skills levels. Alex has been instructing jiu jitsu since 2012.

James

James is a Black Belt in both Traditional (Japanese) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He started training at the age of 8 under Trevor Baker at Kaos Dojo. James is a decorated competitor, winning many state and national titles through his teens and early twenties. Since receiving his two black belts, he continues to train and coach under Peter de Been and Alex. James offers a no nonsense approach to his martial arts style yet retains a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Lucas

Lucas is a black belt under Alex and began his BJJ training in 2014 at de Been Geelong, now Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Factory, competing at AFBJJ competitions along the way.  Lucas has travelled internationally to train and further his jiu jitsu knowledge and skill level. Lucas has a wealth of knowledge and skill to pass on.
